Peninsula Lavender

Check it out on your next trip to the OLD MISSION PENINSULA. Old Mission Peninsula and its appeal first started with farming. Potatoes were the first crop to be cultivated followed by Apples, Peaches then Cherries. Old Mission Peninsula is one of the largest Cherries producers in the county. It was then discovered that the Peninsula in was a perfect climate for growing grapes as it’s located on the 45th parallel. Celebrated wineries with tasting rooms have been a notable presence boasting 10 tasting rooms. As you drive up the Peninsula you will now see the latest trend-Lavender!
